Telangana Sona (RNR15048) fine rice variety is developed by Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU), Rajendranagar, Telangana, Hyderabad, India. In partnership with PJTSAU, GOCT execute the program to Procure, Process and Promote Telangana Sona to provide market access to the farmers to get better price.

MoU between GCOT and Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) signed by Dr. Sri S. Sudheer Kumar, Registrar, PJTSAU in the presence of Dr. V. About Founder
Popularly known as Delhi Vasanth
Became Social activist for sugarcane farmers in 2007 walked 2140 km to National capital Delhi on farmers suicides subject, was influential on National politics and UPA Govt. in announcement of Rs. 69,000 Crores Debt Relief Package to farmers in India. Contested for Zahirabad Assembly during 2009 election on behalf Praja Rajyam Party. Established GCOT during Osmania centenary celebrations with the back-end support all the elders of Osmania Alumni Association.
In order to strengthen local governance, has participated (42) TV talk episodes on behalf of GCOT. Convened NATIONAL MITSOGIANS SAMMELAN in VIGNYAN BHAVAN ,DELHI for the cause of Rural Empowerment. .
